Flying High

Nixon has been jealous of mike's helicopter for the past 2 months. So for Nixon's birthday Mollie and mike gave him one of his very own. HE LOVES IT, and wants to play with it ALL the time. I give it another week before he destroys it.

The Little Man is TWO!

Can you believe that we have a 2 year old? I can't! We started off the day with Shark eating a fish pancakes, then that night we had a little party for Nixon with Mike & Mollie, The Clonts family, My Parents and Uncle Troy. We kind of had a birthday week for Nixon. On Wednesday we went to the splash pad for playgroup and ate Popsicles. Friday we went bowling and to the park to feed the ducks. Lets just say that Nix definitely knew it was his bday, he loved all the attention.

***Side Note***Isn't that Birthday sign BEAUTIFUL? Props to Mollie, she made it for us! Don't worry, I still have it up and have no intention on taking it down.

Camping

Nixon Experienced his first Camping Trip!


We had a BEAUTIFUL spot on Mt. Lemon.



Oh, and Don't worry that white stuff you see is SNOW!
I pretty much stayed up all night trying to keep Nix warm,
and we woke up to this the next morning. We should probably
check the weather next time we plan a camping trip!

Spring Training

Is there anything better than Baseball?

We took Nix to the 1st Spring Training Game of the Season, D-back vs. Rockies.

Unfortunately, we only made it to the 4th inning, which was just the right amount of time to enjoy a ballpark hot dog, and get a nice little sunburn! Can't wait to do it again, I guess Tucson isn't so bad after all.

Naughty and Nice

We were lucky enough to have Nixon's Cousin Ty down for a visit last week. Ty was an ANGEL... Nixon, Not so much. They did have a blast together. We went to the Desert Museum, the Zoo and McDonalds. Nixon woke up the morning after Ty left, and was asking about him all day. I can offically say I know what it would feel like to have Twin boys, Lets just say my house was never clean :)

I am not sure how I feel about this. He has to bring 8Million cars with him every time we leave the house...He Loses AT LEAST 2, and then has a total meltdown! Do I continue to encourage this new obsession, or should I throw the Cars away now :)
