Cousin Weekend

My Family came to visit this weekend, and lets just say Nixon is having some serious Cousin withdrawls! Sorry Stacey that all 5 of your kids came home with the Flu! Glad you left before the barfing began! :)

I Love My Parents!

My Parents made a special trip to Tucson to see their favorite little Grand baby. I don't know who was more excited about this, me or Nixon? They took him to the park and played with him all morning while I had a worry free day running errands. Do you know how easy it is to do things with out a kid? I almost forgot what its like to "run to the store real quick! " I didn't even have to buy a bag of Cheetos to buy myself some extra time :) note to all: I went to the store the other day and grabbed a big bag of Cheetos to keep Nix occupied... He ate HALF of the bag by the time I was done shopping. This MIGHT explain why he wasn't hungry for lunch! I Know, but that's how we roll down here!

If you can't Tell Nixon Was Dumbo, Tank was the ring leader and I was a Tight rope Walker. Tank was so proud of his $2 gold vest he found at DI.

This Year Halloween got to be a little crazy for the Wrights. A Week Before the 31st we had our Ward Party, Then on Monday We drove up to Mesa for the Orange and Black dinner @ the Lofgran's...AND on Halloween we Drove up again to Spend time with Tanks Family(any excuse to go home). We Had a Blast Hanging out with everyone, especially stopping by Sumo and Rita's (Click HERE to see some Stellar Halloween Costumes).

San Carlos, Mexico

In the beginning of October Tank and I went to San Carlos with a Group of Med Students. We had so much fun Chillin' on the Beach and Swimming in the Warm water next to the Dolphins. On the last night we went to a local Restaurant and ate some yummy Mexican Food with the entire Gang. They had a live band so I BEGGED my husband to dance with me. For those that don't know, Tank has some serious moves. I told him that if he didn't dance with me I would find someone else, so I did (hence the picture of me dancing with one of the locals). Some day I will get Tank to Shake it for the blog, but for now this guy will have to do.

Happiest Place on Earth!

My Wonderful, Giving Sister Jenn took Nixon and I to Disneyland with the rest of the Walker Family. We had a BLAST! Do you know how much I love Disneyland? It truly is the "Happiest Place on Earth!"Nixon and his Cousin Cade Sword Fighting!

Basketball

Nixon is Obsessed with basketball! So when we found out that the Suns would be playing at U of A we knew we had to take him! Its the first time in his life he sat still for 20 minutes STRAIGHT, He didn't even budge when the suns gorilla started playing with him. He kept trying to look around him to see the game! Too bad his mom and dad are so short. Looks like he will have to work extra hard if wants to make the NBA when he grows up!

A little Sacrilege

Not sure if I should be blogging about this, but thought it was too funny to pass up! Lately Tank and I have been really trying to teach Nixon about Jesus. We have a picture of Christ hanging above our couch and are constantly asking, "Nixon, who is this?" He replies, "Jesus!" When We are at Church and he is being a punk we walk around the Halls and Look at pictures of Jesus. Its so cute! With that being said... Last night we all went goofy golfing, Nixon was of course running around and playing with the Golf balls. He was getting frustrated because we wouldn't let him play with the ones on the green...All of the Sudden I Hear "JESUS!" in the loudest, Meanest voice that has ever come out of my son! Who Would have thought that teaching him the word Jesus would have back fired.

NIXON

I Signed Nixon up For a Class Called Little Movers and Shakers. Its Sort of like a gymnastics class for babies. He didn't really care to follow instructions, so I just let him run around and get into everything. Perfect way to get all that energy out!

We came home, and he took a Good 3 hour nap!

Cali-Forn-I-A

Cade, Cannon and Kenzie Buried in the Sand. I can't think of anything worse than having a swimsuit full of sand, why do kids like this so much?

Nixon Had His First Beach adventure...Why don't I Live in CA? We Drove over with my Sister's family and Met my parents. Friday Night we went to my friends wedding, which was absolutely beautiful by the way! Then on Saturday we Played ALL DAY at the Beach. Nixon LOVED It! He loved to dig in the Sand, and be with all of his Cousins! I think his Favorite part was having my Dad there, Nixon LOVES his Bampa... I am sad to say that he likes my dad better than me, but what should I expect, My dad pretty much raised him the first year of his life while I worked, AND he never tells him "NO". My Dad really is the GREATEST! Thanks for the Fun Trip Family, Lets do it again! I am game anytime!

White Coat Ceremony

It's official! Tank is now in Med School! On August 8th (yes, My b-day) Tank had his white coat ceremony at U of A! His Parents drove down for the occasion, what a Great birthday Present! I am so Proud of him and all of his hard work so far, too bad this is only the Beginning!

Family Fun in TUCSON?!

Saturday Morning we went swimming at the Pool. Me being the Wonderful Swimming lessons teacher that I am, thought it would be a good Idea to give Nix a quick lesson. The Kid Drank the entire pool and Threw up all over Tank. I am not going to lie, we just left it for someone else to clean up! That's why I love living in a Complex! This is also why I HATE swimming in Public Pools!

Poor Little Nixon Spends all day inside while his Mama works! So In the afternoon we took him to the International Wildlife Museum, and He loved it!

Notice the Leopard with the Deer in his mouth! Nice! If You ever want to come and Visit, I have a place for you to stay, Your kids would love this place! :) (Stacey.... Cannon and Cade would be in Heaven!)

2nd POST!

WOW! Two Posts in One Day, I must really be getting good at this blogging thing, OR I just moved to Tucson and have nothing to do!

The Story Goes....

Tank been Living in Tucson with his friend Mike for the Past Month, (He is doing research at U of A before he starts Med School). The Town home that we are renting wouldn't be ready until July 3rd! So July 3rd comes along and the Place Still isn't ready, we get a call from the Complex on Wednesday, July 2nd @ 4pm! Some Notice right! Anyway, They tell us we could move in on Monday. I drive down to Tucson with a Screaming Baby (I guess he didn't want to be a wildcat) The Place STILL wasn't ready! Just to give you an idea that picture doesn't even do that shower justice, It was disgusting! My Brother Troy, My dad and my Nephew Colton Stayed the 1st night with us to get things Cleaned up and Livable. Seriously, I would have died without their help!


After MANY Hours of Cleaning and my Mom and Sister Jenn helping with the decorating we are FINALLY moved in! Its a Cute little place with a fantastic view, I really Like it! Tank and I have been Waiting all day to have our internet and Cable installed. The Guy just called and said he knocked on our door 15 minutes ago! I have been Using Tanks computer and Stollen internet to type this blog. For some reason my computer doesn't pick up this signal! I have been sitting in the Family room the entire time and heard nothing! The Cable guy Said he would be here from 3-5pm it is now 6:30 which means he is not only an hour and a half late, he never called and lied to me about being here! I hate People sometimes! He said he would be here tomorrow, so hopefully we will really be up and running by Monday! If not I am moving home to Mesa!

Trip to Grandma Nae's

My entire Family went to Utah to visit my Grandma Nae! Nixon was so good on the flight over, but a little piece of crap on the Flight home. It was a Fantastic Trip! We went to the Dino Museum With all the Cousins and Fishing at the Lake! I was even lucky enough to see Michelle's Cute baby! I told her that I wouldn't post the Picture of us because she didn't get ready, but in reality I looked like crap. We really had such a great time in Utah, I swear I would move there if I hadn't said I hated it so many times! Look how Green the Grass is.... We were literally outside Chillin every Night!

Nixon is Finally one! He was born on Cinco De Mayo, 2007 and I have been planning his Fiesta Ever since. He had no idea what was going on, but everyone else seemed to have Fun. He burnt himself on his Candle, (Cutest Crying Picture I have ever seen) He LOVED Digging into his Cake, can't you tell?

GREECE

Tank and I went to Greece for our Anniversary/Birthdays/Christmas this Year! We were there for 10 Days and Loved Every minute. The First Few nights We stayed in the Smallest hotel room in the world, but hey, it was clean and really that's all that matters. We also toured the islands and saw about every site there is to see in Greece. I've never walked so much in my life. The best part was going to church and seeing the families that Tank taught. The Defeai Family (Picture) is the most amazing family, they treated us so well while we were there. My Brother hooked us up with a 5 Star/5 diamond hotel towards the end of our trip, and we lived the luxurious life for a couple of days, Lets just say I might be a little too WT for such a nice place. Tank spoke perfect Greek, so we used the metro system and hardly paid a thing for transportation, he was an excellent tour guide!
