Nixon's Latest Obsession

Watching, and Playing with Cars ALL DAY, EVERY DAY!

We were at Disneyland Last week, Just FEEDING the Obsession

I am not sure how I feel about this. He has to bring 8Million cars with him every time we leave the house...He Loses AT LEAST 2, and then has a total meltdown! Do I continue to encourage this new obsession, or should I throw the Cars away now :)

He is such a little boy. So cute!! Keep going with his obsession because it could be much worse. I can't think of anything right now, but I'm sure there is something. :) Disneyland again??

That huge Lightning McQueen is awesome. Owen LOVED Cars too when he was 2 years old.

Too cute!
It's easier said than done, but try & teach him that there has to be a limit. Especially when he leaves the house.
Good Luck:)

at least he isn't playing with Barbies, that would be a no no!
p.s. i think you should just move to cali since you're at d-land every other weekend anyways!

oh my gosh!! i thought it was just my nephew who was like that!! my nephew is much, much worse!!! he always has cars in his pockets, in his moms purse, sometimes even his sisters hold some for him!! all he ever gets for presents is cars because everyone knows he won't play with anything else!! it's out of control!! i definitely agree with jen!! have a limit!! maybe from 10 to 11 he can play with cars and then put them away and have another fun activity waiting for him!! sorry this is long...i'm definitely not one to give parental advice, my kids are crazy!! but i likey!!

That's what we've been going through with Dane too. He holds as many as he can carry at once, (or more) will not share, and insists on bringing them places. As he's gotten older I've convinced him to leave them in the car or just take 2--one for each hand. :) Even if you tried to stop the obsession, you can't!!! Or if you can, let us know how?!!

What a little man! Love him! That kinda sounds like Brit-she loves cars too, and hogs them all in nursery. I let her take one toy each time we leave the house. I let her pick it, unless she picks one thats too big. Maybe that would work with Nixon? Good luck!

Oh let him play with the cars. He will grow out of it in a while and move onto something new like Barbies and princess gear. Then you will be forcing him to play with cars again. What a cutie!

JILL!!!! Hey it's Michelle!!! Your little boy is such a stud, but honestly that is not suprising since his mom is so beautiful. What's been going on? I am so glad I found your blog.

Hooray, and update! I think it's cute, just so "boyish" of him. But, perhaps you can just INSIST that he only gets to pick 2 special cars per trip, that way, he won't lose so many. I don't know, I'm just making stuff up here. Hooray for Disneyland, I get to go next weekend!!

Joshie was the same way!!! We have a ton of cars big and little, and the mini!!!! It will eventually slow down. And trust me it could be worse....My inlaws have gotten him into Thomas the Train. That is not allowed in this house! :o) Although one or two have trickled in.
